When less is more, the music speaks for itself. That is how we experienced Friday night at Munijazz with the KGG Trio: no piano, no guitar, just a conversation between American trumpeter Chris Kase, double bassist Ander García and drummer Fran Gayo. These three highly accomplished musicians demonstrated that it does not take many elements to create a complete sonic universe—only attentive listening, musical rapport, improvisation and plenty of jazz.
